This project was another from art foundation and was the birth of my preoccupation with the idea and traditions surrounding 'Afternoon Tea'.I combined old family photographs, found papers, teabags and crochet doilies with wax and the outcome was an abstract tea set.
I liked the idea that it was completely impractical and in the event that anyone tried to pour hot tea into the cups, the whole tea set would melt and completely disintegrate!
